About the Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities

• Partner and work closely with business leaders in Singapore and Malaysia on all matters related to recruitment, specifically for hiring in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center in IH2.
• Plan, drive, and implement recruitment initiatives within the BPO and track the Return-On-Investment (ROI). This includes strategizing and defining new hiring models, and driving initiatives to meet the growing needs of IH2.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the recruitment team and wider TA team.
• Utilise a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking and industry events, to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. This applies to both fresh graduates and experienced hires.
• Partner with BPO leadership team/Group TA team on recruitment-related areas to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
• Establish and manage partnerships with local educational institutions, recruitment agencies, and other sourcing channels/partners to fulfil the recruitment needs in IH2.

• Leverage recruitment metrics and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. 
   

Job Requirements

• At least 12 years of related HR experience, preferably in recruitment within a BPO or similar environment.
• Proven expertise in high-volume recruitment and familiarity with the unique challenges of the BPO sector.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive results and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable and able to communicate professionally and effectively with line managers, vendors, and candidates at all levels.
• Strong team player who is also able to work independently.
• Experience in building and scaling recruitment functions in a startup or rapidly growing environment.
• Strong understanding of the local job market in Malaysia, particularly in Kuala Lumpur.
