About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.


Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

This role is a predominantly sales role, focused on creating card acquisition opportunities in the retail space through merchant partnership tie-ups. You will be accountable for sales targets and deployment strategies within your assigned merchant segments. You will need to have a wholistic approach to each partnership, creating mutually beneficial opportunities for the partner and the Bank, including cross selling of other bank products.   

  • Identify and connect with suitable merchant partners, develop effective marketing campaigns and collaterals to drive sign-ups
  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners to develop marketing materials and perform campaign fulfillment
  • Manage on-boarding processes for new merchants
  • Review campaign performance, identify gaps and make necessary tweaks to ensure quarterly targets are met
  • Manage monthly reports and billing/invoices
  • This is a commission-based role where a percentage of your compensation is tied to meeting sales targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or sales-related role
  • Experience in account management and partnerships will be an added advantage.
  • A team player with dedication to providing quality performance and speed on execution
  • Highly self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to work fast and smart independently
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
