Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our dynamic Design team focused on enhancing the Private Bank experience within digital platform! Armed with a strong eye for design, you will create exceptional user experiences that are informed by research and data. To succeed in this role, you will need to skillfully weave together customers’ needs and business objectives into delightful and engaging user experiences that elevate our Private Banking services.


Job Responsibilities:
As Design Lead, you’ll get to influence the customer experience for the Private Bank digital experience. As the voice of the customer, you’ll be responsible for the discovery and delivery of creative, delightful experiences that address customer needs, align with the business vision, and meet KPIs.

  • As the Experience Design team collaborates with multiple stakeholders across the organization, your role is crucial in ensuring that the Design team becomes a valuable partner to our stakeholders.
  • To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a knack for always seeing the big picture while managing expectations from business to customer, and simplifying very complicated ideas into designs that resonate with our clients.
  • You’ll report to the Design Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee design and delivery of customer experiences that align with business objectives & customer needs
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of product owners, development squads and other relevant stakeholders through all stages of the product development cycle process.
  • Responsible for ensuring deliverables are delivered on time within agile sprints
  • Guide and partake in discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and breakthrough moments that define quality experiences
  • Lead usability testing sessions and generate actionable design recommendations to improve the experiences we create.
  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Direct the purpose and facilitation of stakeholder engagement sessions e.g., ideation workshops, design review sessions; ensure quick follow-ups of workshop outcomes
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team by providing holistic views and realistic goals for the team to achieve business outcomes
     

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design or product design
  • Experience mentoring content designers, providing design direction, framing problems, and running a team.
  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills as you’ll have to engage multiple stakeholders from different units to align expectations and ensure design solutions meet business KPIs and budgets.
  • Skilled in systems thinking, where you can always see the bigger picture and ensure the voice of the customer is present from discovery to design execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, as you’ll have to manage and run multiple discovery and delivery projects with consistency, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and deadline-driven agile environment.
  • Great communicator and presenter, where you’re able to translate ambiguity and present actionable steps to team and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in applying design principles in consumer products and services environments across UX Research, customer journeys, design thinking.

Bonus: 

  • Experience in banking and wealth management
  • Strong online portfolio available for viewing
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma
