About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.


Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities


This role is part of UOB’s Group Retail Marketing function which focuses on providing strategic marketing support for UOB Private Bank and UOB Privilege Reserve. 

The job holder will be responsible for developing and executing brand and marketing campaigns, as well as communication materials to strengthen the brand perception of the Private Wealth division to support acquisition, retention, and net-new-money / portfolio growth for the HNW / UHNW segment.

  • Support the go-to-market plan for brand / marketing campaigns to drive brand silence for UOB Private Wealth.
  • Increase brand awareness through strategic media buy to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Engage through digital marketing channels and social media platforms to build and maintain our social media presence for branding, engagement, and acquisition purposes.
  • Create thought-leadership content, including CIO communication materials to engage and deepen share-of-wallet.
  • Understand and identify the wealth needs of HNW and UHNW segment to design and rollout integrated marketing activities to support business objectives. 
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across different businesses and functions including Product Managers, Sales and Distribution, Customer Franchise, CIO office, Wealth Planning and Strategy team to define campaign objectives, deliverables and deploy accordingly against agreed business KPIs.
  • Opine on creatives and provide copywriting support.
  • Manage multiple agencies to ensure clear strategic intent of all marketing activities including providing end-to-end campaign support from developing to tracking and evaluating.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in financial institutions managing wealth / HNW marketing.
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or Economics.
  • Strategic and creative-minded with a strong business acumen, good understanding of emerging HNW / UHNW trends and insights.
  • Ability to apply a customer centric mindset in the implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrate competency in integrated marketing communications, including digital and social media marketing.
  • Good communicator, with strong copywriting ability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management ability.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a positive and agile mindset. A self-starter who is also a collaborative team player who enjoys working in teams and cross functions.
  • Investment knowledge preferred
